Janice NewCounsellor & Founder

Janice Tilley, M.Sc., M.Ed., CCC, RCT, Owner: Empathic Life Solutions

Janice Tilley is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Registered Counselling Therapist with an extensive background in the mental health field including 20 years presenting professional training workshops, 16 years of supervisory experience, 5 years teaching at the college level, and over 9 years counselling individuals, couples, and families. Counselling specialties include anxiety, depression, work/life balance, intimate partner violence, trauma, relationship issues, and anger management.  Janice also designs and delivers a wide range of professional development and wellness workshops, and coordinates the delivery of psychoeducational programs for the community.

Gabrielle New

Counsellor

Gabrielle Cormier, M.A.O. (Counselling), CHRM (Human Res. Mgmt), CCP (Life Coaching), CCC

Please note that Gabrielle is currently on sabbatical. Gabrielle Cormier is a bilingual, Canadian Certified Counsellor with 20 years of experience working with people in a variety of capacities, including counselling, coaching, and human resources. For the last 4 years, she has worked as a counsellor specializing in anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, career, and other issues. Gabrielle facilitates groups for women and men experiencing or using intimate partner violence.

Dave Tramley, M.Div.

Dave has 16 years experience counselling and providing training workshops to couples to overcome conflict, improve communication, and achieve more satisfying relationships. He has training in narrative therapy and intimate partner violence as well as counselling skills and group therapy training. Dave facilitates groups for children, women, and men experiencing or using intimate partner violence, as well as the Caring Dads and Anger Management.

Kelli Etheridge, M.Ed, CCC, CCFE

Kelli is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and a Certified Canadian Family Educator who has worked in the field of parenting and family education for over 17 years. She has training with Dr. Ross Greene in working with challenging behaviours in children, and is a certified trainer in the Kids Have Stress Too program. Kelli is the parent of two children.  She facilitates  parenting programs on many topics facing today’s parents.

Ron Duffy, B.A.

Ron Duffy has 10 years of experience as a Case Manager with the Department of Social Development, and 14 years employment with various enforcement agencies. He has training in narrative therapy and intimate partner violence, as well as counseling skills and group therapy training. Ron is currently employed as an Adult Education Instructor and Workplace Essential Skills Instructor in the Southeast Regional Correctional Center, where he also delivers anger management groups. He facilitates groups for men who abuse in relationships and the Becoming Assertive program.

Debbie Landry-Jaillet , B.S.W., R.S. W., Certified Grief Recovery Specialist

Debbie is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist® and Registered Social Worker with over 20 years experience working with people who have experienced loss. Her professional experience includes working with palliative clients and their families, and working with people experiencing perinatal grief, separation and divorce, and other losses. She facilitates the Grief Recovery group.
